carrotSome DVDs new to the library, in alphabetical order. All links go to the page where you can request the item(s).

Carrot Cake Murder – Alison Sweeney stars in this Hallmark adaptation of a Joanne Fluke mystery. It's the seventh of nine such films. On DVD.

Evil Dead Trap – 1988 Japanese horror about a TV host who gets a snuff tape and goes to investigate it. It has nothing to do with the Evil Dead franchise. On DVD.

The Harrad Experiment – There was a time back in the early '70s when this film and the book it was based on were passed around furtively. The “experiment” in question involves college students getting familiar. Don Johnson (22 at the time) met Melanie Griffith (then 14) on the set. If not for this movie, Dakota Johnson wouldn't exist. Anyway, on DVD.

Karaoke – An Israeli comedy about an older couple who go to a regular karaoke party and get obsessed with the party's host. On DVD.

The Promised Land – Mads Mikkelsen stars as an 18th-century soldier who gets involved in a land quarrel. On DVD.

Rare Exports – Finnish horror-fantasy that takes a decidedly unsentimental view of Santa Claus. On DVD.

The…
