The Millicent Library accepts donations of recent books, CDs, and DVDs.
Donations should be clean and in good condition.
The library does not accept donations of magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, puzzles, games, toys, audio cassettes, VHS tapes, and materials that are in poor condition.
All donated materials are accepted without condition, and immediately become the property of the Millicent Library.
Donated materials cannot be returned.
Donated materials not added to the library collection will be sold in the Friends of the Library’s book sale.
Donations added to the collection may be subsequently withdrawn when they are worn or when their content is no longer current.
Donated materials that are not suitable for the library’s collections or the Friends book sale will be discarded.
Due to limited space, the library cannot accept donations in large quantities.
Please do not bring more items than you can carry into the library.
Please contact the library for more information about donating archives, local history, and historical materials.
