Notary Services

Notary Services are now available at the Millicent Library!

We are happy to perform acknowledgements, oaths and affirmations, jurats, and signature witnessing. Please note that at this time, we are not able to notarize wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, real estate documents, or documents in a language other than English.

All notary services are provided free of charge. Please remember to bring a valid photo ID, and the unsigned and undated documents that you will need notarized. If documents need to be witnessed, patrons must bring their own witness(es).

We recommend making an appointment or calling ahead to make sure that the notary public will be available when you visit. To make an appointment, please e-mail vhurst@sailsinc.org or call the library at 508-992-5342. Walk-ins will be accepted when a notary public is available. If the notary public is not available, notary services are available across the street at Fairhaven Town Hall. Please click here for more information.
