Save the Date: Saturday, May 18th at 12:30 PM, as we extend an invitation to you to join us at the Millicent Library auditorium for an enchanting afternoon filled with live jazz music and captivating historical anecdotes.

This free concert will showcase the NO3 Organ Trio featuring the exceptional talent of Nina Ott on the Hammond B3 organ. Ott will skillfully intertwine the history of jazz organ legends such as Dr. Lonnie Smith, Ronnie Foster, Shirley Scott, and more, adding depth and context to the mesmerizing melodies. Accompanying her will be Steve Fell on guitar and Chris Lopes on drums.

Initially trained as a classical pianist, Nina Ott earned a scholarship and degree in classical piano performance before gravitating towards improvisation and the allure of jazz. Ott has collaborated with esteemed artists including John Calloway, Louis Romero, Jesus Pagan Orchestra and recently performed live for GBH Music and JazzBoston’s JazzNOW: Shaping the Sound of Jazz.

The Millicent Library's auditorium will be transformed into an intimate night club café atmosphere, complete with complimentary snacks and beverages courtesy of the Friends of the Millicent Library.

Seating will be provided but space may be limited. Registration is encourage. Please enter through the Walnut Street doors.
