boundSome DVDs new to the library, in alphabetical order. All links go to the page where you can request the item(s).

Bound – New Criterion edition. I'm not a big fan, but Criterion has fixed it so the Wachowskis are no longer deadnamed on the packaging or in the credits, which is cool. On Blu-ray.

Dogs Don't Wear Pants – Finnish BDSM drama starring Pekka Strang, who played the lead role in Tom of Finland. On DVD.

Ezra – Drama about an aspiring comedian (Bobby Cannavale) whose son is autistic. The young actor who plays the kid (William Fitzgerald) is also autistic. Also with Robert De Niro. On DVD.

The Guyver – Mark Hamill stars in this 1991 cult superhero flick directed by special-effects artists Screaming Mad George and Steve Wang. On DVD.

Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid – Criterion edition (this is a big week for Criterion) containing three different versions of Sam Peckinpah's unusual western. On Blu-ray.

Querelle – New Criterion edition of Rainer Werner Fassbinder's final film, starring Brad Davis and adapted from Jean Genet. It arrived a bit late for Pride Month, but whatever. On DVD.

The Three Musketeers Part II: Milady – Second and final part of the French adaptation starring Eva Green. We have the first one too, natch. On DVD.

The Underground Railroad – Barry Jenkins' four-part drama done for Amazon Prime and brought to you by – you guessed it – Criterion. Based on the novel by Colson Whitehead. On DVD.
