Museum Passes
highland Free Fun Fridays
Highland Street Foundation is once again sponsoring its Free Fun Fridays. This offer visitors no-cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural venues in Massachusetts. For children and families throughout Massachusetts during the summer months. Every Friday, from the end of June through the end of August, multiple sites are open for free.

The Millicent Library, mainly through donations, subscribes to a number of museum and park passes.  These passes cost hundreds of dollars each, so we have rules and penalties (similar to those of other libraries) to ensure that as many people as possible can use a pass. See individual passes for more information. Please call the individual Museum/Venue for hours, directions and current copays.

Museum Pass Rules:
•    One pass per person at a time.
•    Passes only can be taken by adult patrons
•    Buttonwood Park Zoo pass only circulates to Fairhaven residents.  The rest are available to anyone with a valid SAILS library card.
•    Each cardholder must be present and have his/her card with him/her
•    If there are fines on the card, the fines must be paid before the pass can be checked out
•    We do not reserve passes. (We tried it at the beginning and it didn’t work out)
•    Passes that have to be returned must be picked up and returned the following library day (or as noted on your date due slip) to the Millicent Library circulation desk.  They can’t be returned to another library or sent back in the mail. Many passes circulate like a bookl and must be returned. Some passes are dated and are taken by the museum when you get there. These passes may be picked up in advance and don’t have to be returned.
•    $5.00 per day charge if overdue

You may see a list of passes available at all SAILS libraries and may even be able to reserve some from those libraries who have purchased the online reservation software.
